Weather during June through August

I am considering getting dental work done in Aurangabad during June through August. What will the weather be like? Is there much of a difference between Aurangabad and Pune? Would either place be a fun place to hang out?

It'll be rainy weather during June through August as monsoon will be hitting there at that time ...there isn't much diff. between Pune & Aurangabad ...both are big cities (220 KM apart from each other) ...but Pune will be more fun place to hang out as it's more developed than Aurangabad & due it's proximity to Mumbai ,Nashik also can be a nice option ...it's near to Aurangabad ....you can also enjoy short trips in Sahyadri mountain range during monsoon ( in fact its the best time to visit Sahyadri Mountains )

Do you have any suggestions on where to stay in Aurangabad and Pune? I like your suggestion about spending time Pune as I am told that Osho's (Rajneesh) Ashram is located nearby. My dentist is located in Aurangabad so I must spend several days there at least.

Can you recommend places to visit/stay in the Sahyadri Mountians?

If you are going to be that long in Aurangabad, do visit the Ajanta and Ellora heritage sites, the Daulatabad fort and the Lonar meteorite crater.
