Taxi from Mumbai Intl. -> Neral

Does anybody has an idea how much a taxi from Mumbai Intl. airport to Neral junction (toy train to Matheran) costs?

Well the normal black and yellow cab would not take you from Airport to Neral as it is outside Mumbai limits. Best is to take a pvt cab. Neral would be around 100 kms from mumbai airport so the round trip at around Rs 10 per km should set you back by Rs 2000 approx

Neral is <100 KMs from Intl Airport, Mumbai and Taxi rate is going on 7RS/1KM but you have to pay for minimum 300 KMs par Day.

So it would be around 1800 + 100 (Driver's Fee) + Toll Taxes.

Book for tickets for Neral-Matheran train in Advance (www.irctc.co.in) as you may faced long que at Neral Station.

Why are you thinking to goto Neral in Taxi, lot of outside stations train as well as Locals going to Neral.

Are you going for 1 day only?

A cheaper choice is to go to Dadar and take a train from there which halts at Neral station! You can buy a first class ticket if you wish to travel comfortably!
