stay options at Devgad, Vijaydurg in Konkan

hi,

looking for some stay options at vijaydurg/ devgad in konkan for two days with family. i will be coming from malwan and will be heding to Rajapur. want to stay at devgad to visit kunkeshwar, vijaydurg, devgad fort etc.

please suggest

There are very limited staying options in this part as there is no popular destination on the way. Kunkeshwar has some basic staying facilities available. There are 3 options. Bhakt nivas which I would not recommend other two you would have to check if you like it. Also, there are limited options for food as well.

There are few MTDC bed breakfast options are also available. still want to check if anyting more is available.

i am planning the following;

leaving Pune via Kolhapur reaching Malwan and stay
visting Sindhudurg Fort and other places and stay at Malwan, enjoying Fish and fish
leaving Malwan next day and via Kunkeshwar reaching Devgad and stay
visiting Vijaydurg, Devgad forts and other places and stay at Devgad
Leaving Devgad for Rajapur, visiting Dhpeshwar and Adivare and via Ratngiri return to Pune

This will be covered comfortabley in 5 days.

You may want to try Athithi Bamboo restaurant. Many local people recommended me that one. Moreover it is economic as well..

during my visit to Malwan i found chaitanya ( market place) very corweded and a small place and no one to take care of. we had a food in other hotel and found that basic malwani test and quality of fish is same all over. So nothing grt about chaitanya.

mmlele, Hope you had a nice trip. Please share your experience. What did you like about the beaches. Which ones are good and which are not that good? Did you visit Tarkarli beach? Also did you go for Snorkelling?

Weekend trip from Mumbai? Looks like a 8-9 hour drive so I would say a long 3 day if not a 4 day weekend is required to visit this place
