Shiva-ji history in Maharastra

Kia ora,
I am wanting any info on the forts of Shivaji in Maharastra. I will be travelling from Goa to M.P. and will have a couple of weeks in Maharastra, would like to do some trekking, visit some of the forts and historical sites. I have been to places like Sawantawadi, Kholapur, Lonavla, Matheran, Nasik, Aurangabad etc before, so would like to see some new places - any ideas (working from southwest of the state to the northeast, either coastal or inland route...), all info. appreciated.

forts i have been to and recommend in maharashtra are
Sinhagad - off Pune
Raigad - off Bombay Goa Highway near Mahad
Sindhudurg - off Ratnagiri
Pratapgad - Near Mahabaleshwar Panchgani
Daulatabad - Fort near Aurangabad (must hire a guide at the fort really worth it)

Visit Sinhagad Fort near Pune . Trekking up the fort takes one and a half hour.
