Shirdi to MumbaI Road Travel

I am flying to Mumbai for a four day business visit and planning to proceed to Shirdi. I will board a bus to Shirdi on 11th dec at 10pm at Mumbai and arrive (12th) around 5am in Shirdi and complete the darshan by 8:30am. I have a flight (same day 12th)at 8:55pm in Mumbai domestic airport. I am planning to board a bus to Mumbai from Shirdi at around 9:30am so that i will reach Mumbai by 5pm.I am keeping buffer time of 4hrs keeping in view of traffic. I just want to know what is the nearest (5 to 10km radius) drop point that i need to tell the bus driver. Few buses from Shirdi will halt at Borivali,Mumbai. How far is domestic terminal from borivali.

I have checked the Jagson Airlines website, which says it operates a flight (fare Rs4299) from shirdi 14:30hrs and reaches Mumbai at 15:25hrs. Just wondering about the reliability factor as i never travelled with Jagson Airlines. I have been to Shirdi many times but never seen/heard of an airport located at Shirdi.

If i book a flight ticket from shirdi and its been cancelled in the last min, it will disturb my entire schedule.

I would appreciate recomendations / advises if anyone travelled from shirdi to mumbai domestic terminal by road and by Jagson Airlines. Also, what could be the one way fare from shirdi to mumbai airport if i hire a cab on worst cases.

If your bus terminates at Borivili, you can get off from the bus at Vile Parle on the WE highway. The domestic terminal is at a walking distance from there. You can hire a taxi or an auto rickshaw from there.

I am not sure about Jagson Airlines. It does not have a very good reputation. btw it's a helicopter flight to Shirdi. If you have never travelled by a helicopter, you can give it a try.
