shirdi hotel
hie i intend goin to shirdi from 23rd mar to 25th mar any suggestions on a budget comfortable hotel to stay & maybe online booking facilty- what are the other nearby places that i can visit in a day-JAI SAINAATH!!!!

Ahmednagar City is the obvious choice, the fort, a cute museum, the Lal Nishan union office, and a place reachable by motorcycle erroneously called Chand Bibi's Mahal..

Hi
You could also visit the famous Shani Shingnapur Temple nearby (60 kms away). The village is famed for its temple dedicated to Shani - the planet Saturn. More remarkable however is that there are no locks on any of the doors in the village be it residential or commercial, including the bank. Local legends claim that the village is 'protected' and no thief can cross its borders without dying, the village has remained theft - free in recorded history.Please note that only men are allowed to offer prayers to the main shrine. http://www.shanishinganapur.com/ |
