Sports Bar maybe in the south. I'd go there for the TV's, but I haven't yet seen any pub in Mumbai with a big screen.

Good luck, i tried watching the 2006 superbowl and rugby matches while i was India and no luck, not even in bars with a tv. I finaly managed to catch a couple matches at a friends house who had satelite TV. Now watching Cricket is an entirely diff matter, pretty much anywhere w/ a TV is playing matches.

I am not sure it will be displayed in any Pubs. Rugby is not the' In thing' here in this cricket mad nation.

Neo sports Plus is the channel that has bagged the rights for the Rugby world cup. You can catch all the action in this channel.

looking forward to the quarters, this weekend, Go ALL-BLACKS!

The Sports Bar at the Regal Cinema Building, Shahid Bhagat Singh Road, Colaba is probably the choice. I was there and they had three screens directly behind the bar. A decent size too. One TV was showing cricket, one of them was golf, and the other was soccer, so there was a bit of variety. The last time I went to Geoffreys, all their TV screens were pretty small, and all the other bars I went to like Dome, had no or non existent TV'S. I'd recommend Sports Bar.

The All Blacks will win it. Richie McCaw, Daniel Carter, Chris Jack, Aaron Mauger, Leon MacDonald. Am I being too bias for the members of Canterbury?

Mate, Add Rokocoko and Sivivatu to that list. I Just hope that the All blacks don't will under pressure, again. If they don't stop these two guys, France are going to get smashed.

Phone call from a friend 10 mn ago : "Can I come to your place and watch France get whacked ?"
Much as we try to distract attention with fashion stunts and Chabal-or-not-Chabal tactics, can't say there's a strong belief in our chances here. Still, if we play at our best, it could be a fine game to watch...

Enjoy it anyway ! And Jacknick, I hope you find that pub.

Still, I'm sorry that we won't see the Blacks play anymore in this competition. Next time, fellas...

They choked again, Now they will go on to another awe-inspiring Winning spree and enter the next world-cup as the favorites. It seems to me that they are the Rugby Equivalent of the Argentine National soccer team, who play beautiful soccer but choke during the world-cup's.

To use that tired old cliche, the game of Rugby was the winner, yesterday.

Both games of ruby yesterday were just awesome! Good to see England regain some confidence (sorry NSW - what on earth happened there)! And as much as it pains me - french flair and passion won the day. Batistuta - any advice? I think everyone in NZ would be willing to try anything to overcome the 4 year curse.

Khandoma - sacre bleu! I can't believe you had so little faith in your team in your first post! Oh well, they came through in the end!

Brownboy, "little faith" is the understatement of the week. A few hours before the game, I heard that the coach had instructed the French team to stop calling the Blacks "blacks" and call them "the New Zealand team", just to take some pressure of their backs ! Now that is showing comfidence...
I honestly couldn't believe we won, thought the Black team played superior rugby.
