plan to visit aurangabad & shirdi oct'12

I along with my wife ( age 65&62 respectively) plan to visit Aurangabad for Ajanta,Ellora & other as well as Shirdi on 3rd week of oct'12. the tour itinary as fallow.
1. Started by Gitanjali exp, on 24th oct
2.reaching Jalgaon on 25th around 2pm and proceed to Aurangabad by bus/taxi
3 stay upto 29th i.e.monday
4.proceed to Shirdi on 30th i.e. on tuesday
5.Stay at shirdi upto Fridayi.e. on 2nd nov'12
6.Return shirdi by direct train(12523dn SNSI Super Exp) to Howrah
Please let me know----
a) what is the suitable transport to avail for Jalgaon and the time to reach
b) Availibility of accomodation
c)best option for visiting Ajanta, Ellora & adjacent site seeing?
d) guide to Shirdi tour

This was my post on a simular thread for Aurangabad and the caves.

We visited Ajanta and Ellora on two different trips.
In 2009 we did Ajanta we took a train to Jalgaon where we stayed in hotel Plaza

We went with a local bus to the caves as a day trip. From Jalgaon to Aurangabad is a frequent bus services or, if your budget allows this, you can hire a car.

In 2011 we stayed in Hotel IRA in Aurangabad. For the visit to Ellora we hired a rickshaw for the whole day.
These caves are spread out so it was convenient to use the rickshaw as transport form one group to the other.
Half way to Aurangabad is the fort of Daulatabad, we visited this on a separate day, if you are vital enough it is possible to combine the two.
Also the Bibi Ka Maqbara tomb, a simple version of the Taj Mahal, is a visit worth.

Please let me informed about tourist spot in JALGAON and surround. I want to stay one day more for this.

We had also an extra day and asked the hotel owner the same question.
There is nothing to see an do he told, so we just walked through the town.
