Hi , I wonder if these places are of some interest for foreigner tourist (mainly pilgrimage places ?) :

Bhimashankar , Trimbak, Pandharpur, Shiridi , Nanded ...

I have had a wonderful trip to Trimbakeshwar ("Trimbak"). The place is just about a 30 minutes drive from Nasik, and is full of mythological and architectural splendour. The main Siva temple of Trimbakeshwar is worth visiting but you will also like the holy pond Kushavarta and the several little shrines around it. The Siva temple has an interesting connection in the history of Sivaji—the 16th century Maratha king. Also interesting is the source of the Godavari, which is supposed to be atop the Brahmagiri—a peak (about 4,000 ft) in the Western ghats that is close by—and the unusually bustling cemetery, where you will find hundreds of priests chanting mantras for a ritual known as the Narayan Nag Bali.

Good accommodation is available. Entry inside the temple might be restricted for non-Hindus (as it has been in many Hindu shrines after Indian independence. This is a problem at many places of pilgrimage). A wonderful account of Trimbakeshwar is the Marathi book "Brahmagirichi Sawli" (ब्रम्हगिरीची सावली; Brahmagiri's Shadow) by Prof. Yashwant Pathak.
