One Day Trip - Pune to Mumbai and Back
I am in Pune from 20th to 27th November.
On 25th November I am free and would like to may a day trip to Mumbai and back. I plan to take the early morning train and return the same evening. Any suggestions?  |

It'll be faster by road, on the expressway; if time is a factor. Otherwise the charms of the Deccan Queen remain unrivalled on the Pune-Mumbai route!

Much agreed with the above since I have done it many times.. If you talk to a porter and make arrangements they will get you one maybe. Otherwise forget it as all seats will be blocked off and sold by the ... Its a gas watching the thoroughly blasted commuters that never see their kids awake weekdays..

take the mrsctc volvo from the station. the best bet after the trains.. the neeta volvos are ageing now.. not too good..
