Nagpur nightlife
I will be going to Nagpur next week for a few days. I was curious if there is any nightlife in the city...

Nagpur heads a list of 1 for me, the only place in India that I didn't like and couldn't find anything to do, on my third day there I just jumped on a local narrow gauge train and got off at a village about 2 hours outside of Nagpur and had a few hours looking around the village before returning to Nagpur for my train to Mumbai.
There's plenty of bars, but there just the run of the mill whiskey and beer joints, try some of the upmarket hotels, they're likely to have decent bars, or maybe do a google search for some info, though do the google search before you get to Nagpur, I spent 2 and a half days looking for an Internet cafe in Nagpur, and the only 2 I found were closed whenever I went to them. It's not all bad news in Nagpur, they have great oranges. |
