Mumbai to Alibagh - Enroute food stop?

We are doing a road trip from Mumbai to Alibagh this weekend.

Just wondering of interesting place/s where we may take a pitt stop for breakfast.

Suggestions welcome!

Standard food stop for most people is the Kamat's at Karnala which will come once you go right from Panvel. It is just before the bird sanctuary.

Good, clean, fast. Opens around 8 am I think.

After Kamat's there is one other big one on the right with a funky name on a red billboard, Looks decent from outside, never been there.

In case you are not hungry by Karnala, then just before you hit the Vadkhal Naka junction (straight to Alibag/Left to Goa) is a large restaurant on the left.

I would recommend Kamat's

I have biked down that road quite often and tried out many of the eateries along the way.
I would recommend Hotel Amantran at the Vadhkal Naka junction. I usually halt at either the McDonalds at Kalamboli or Amantran.

I've tried Kamat - found it to be way overpriced

for budget travelers.

there is a sea food hotel called SANMAN in alibaug, i have eaten there couple of times, great sea food maharashtrian style thalis... must go there
