MTDC Booking

Hi,

I am trying to book mtdc resort online,
generally if u want to book a room for 1 day , you need to give
to give an example
Check-in Date = 1-1-2000 , Checkout-Date =2-1-2000

this is generally counted as 1 day but on MTDC this is been counted as 2 day . Why?

Please confirm anyone who has booked , if I have to give checkin/checkout date as same for 1 day booking ?

I am not sure why mtdc counts this as 2 days? I had done an mtdc booking online years ago and do not recollect such an issue (might exist but then i do not recall as i might not have found this as an issue)

I will try to check my userid as i have not used it since ages.

If you want to book for 1 day you need to keep the check in and check out date the same. This is what I did a couple of years ago for Ganpatipule MTDC.

I think they have 12:00 noon to 12:00 noon checkin-checkout timing. If you have said that i will come in morning (before 12:00) and go next morning, they must have calculated 2 days. Plz check that.

BTW, i would suggest private players than MTDC resorts. they suck at some locations. Where r u travelling BTW?

Malshej Ghat & Bhandardara , I got reviews that the locations of MTDC is best and value for money stuff.

Ok I checked mtdc doesnt ask time during booking, just date.

I have heard the Bhandardara MTDC lake side cottages are the best.! Good luck in booking..

i agree. they do not use the checkin/out dates concept like other hotels. instead you need to mention the dates you need the booking. so if checkin on 1-Jun & leaving on 2-Jun, just mention booking from 1-Jun to 1-Jun. i had done it this way for my mtdc booking.
if i recall, the same bug (or feature) prevails in otdc booking as well as ttdc bookings & kstdc bookings as well. perhaps created by the same guy at nic has created all these software(s)...

but in some MTDC like Malshej Ghat it tell clearly Timing of check-in after u select dates.

@saugata :couldn't get lake side cottage as they were all showing "NA".Taken special rooms there in Bhandaradara.

Anyone knows best scenic route to Bhandardara from Malshej Ghat ?

There are two routes suggested on Google Maps. I had done this route on my bike. It doesn't feel any different from other roads in the region but you will absolutely love the road if you go during the rains.
