Matheran toy train running yet?
Hello, all. I plan to visit Matheran in a month or two. My lonely planet guidebook says the toy train has been out of commission since tracks were washed away in the 2005 monsoon. Does anyone know if it's back running yet? LP says it's 'hoped' the train will be back up by now, but I don't know how to find out if it is or not.

Its true that the tracks were washed in the 2005 monsoon but now the they have been repaired and the train is back and running as usual. You can enjoy its trip anytime now. Have a good trip and ENJOY. |
