Accommodation is available at AURANGABAD- but as you are going to LONAR also-you can stay in MTDC property there.It is on edge of crater and provides good view also.

not difficult I did the same.....if you are on a shoestring you can stay in one of the temples on the edges of the lake....

I did it some 4 years ago...
there are a re few lodges....very basic within reachable distances from the lake

Yes- we did the same. Pitched tent in ruins of a temple. Water is there...and jungle too. Lodges are there but they are very posit and dirty...someone from our group went there...and reported very bad scene. I think MTDC was best option.

Yes- and I did some googling and found this website which you can contact....I am sure getting accommodation there shall not be a problem but better get booked as these days you never knows...
