Hotels in Aurangabad and Mumbai?
Hotels in Aurangabad and Mumbai?
Hello there
My husband and I will be going on our honeymoon to India at the end of the month. We've booked most of the trip, but still need to find a hotel for 2 nights in Aurangabad and a hotel for 2 nights in Mumbai. We'd like something central, nice and cosy, but not too expensive either.
Could you help?
Many thanks

I highly recommend the Hotel Residency in Mumbai. Around $65/night double last time I checked. You can also click on the Hotels link above and see what others have said about the Residency and other Mumbai and Aurangabad hotels. After your trip, it would be nice if you'd submit your inputs on places you've stayed in order to help others on this board.
Brilliant, thanks! We'll do!
Any ideas for Aurangabad though? It seems very difficult to get any oinfo about hotels in the city anywhere!

You could try MTDC Holiday Resort. It's government run and all the cave tours (Ajanta, Ellora) leave from there, so it's convenient as well. Not nearly as nice as the Residency, but not bad either. I had already booked the Shree Maya (a little rough, but cheap), so I didn't stay at MTDC, but I had a look at the rooms and they cater to package tour groups, so they're certainly acceptable.

In aurangabad lots of hotels are there, since you are going for honeymoon I will recommend the best hotels, 5 star,
Hotel Rama international
Hotel ajanta Ambassador
since aurangabad is small city, rates will not be too high.
Hotel Vedant ( near railway station, ) recently renovated and new management,so name is changed i feel,
Hotel Athithi,
and many more, depending on your requirement and budget
