Hi all,

Hotel Rugby used to be my favourite hotel in Matheran but now i understand that they have stopped operations. Any news if they are reopening or so..

I recollect reading an article in the newspapers around a year back that Hotel Rugby has been bought by Mukesh Ambani and he is planning to use it as a campsite for his International School in Mumbai.

If that is indeed true, then it is very unfortunate for public in general and realy sad for me since i just loved the hotel perched on the highest point in Matheran and will miss going there..

Checked physically.. Rugby is now a private abode of Ambani family.. they are using this place as some sort of camping ground for the school
