Hotel in Nasik

Hi!
First of all let me say that I'm finding this forum very useful for planning my India trip.

Perhaps somebody could give me some advice on hotels in Nasik. The price range is max RS 850 - 950. I have written to Royale Heritage, Hotel Samrat (got a weird automatic reply email…),Hotel Shradha (could not find a webpage).

Does anyone have experience with these hotels? I would very much like to have a hotel near the bus station, since we'll be arriving late at night.
Or, if someone can suggest a better hotel (AC is a must, double room with attached bathroom, clean). We are staying in Nasik for 3 nights.

Last October 2007 I have stayed in Hotel Samrat. Very well situated between the two Bus Stands. Although they were making some repairs the hotel was very good, better than the average at this price. Have paid 825 Rs + 4% tax for a very good room.

In which room did you stay - in delux? Or in other?
They offered me a slightly higher fee, 1025 + tax per night, than stated on their web. On their homepage it states 925 RS. But i guess in India all prices are subject to change without prior notice

The only indication in the bill is the number of the room: 305. It was for single use even if it was a double room.

Am not sure if this reply is a little late, but if you are intending to go to Shirdi, i stayed at i think it was called Mnaoj International in Shirdi it was excellent the price was about 1500 staff was very good
