Going to Lonavla

Hey folks,
We are a group of around 30 ppl from office. We are planning a trip to Lonavla from Mumbai in the first week of july. The trip will start in the morning and we will be back to Mumbai in the evening around 9-10 pm.It is a one day trip. Please suggest as to how we can use the time available to us to the maximum. What all to see, and where all to go.

Thanks,
Raj

If you are visiting Lonavala at the week-end, there will be tremendous crowd at Bushi Dam overflow point and a waterfall nearby and you may not get the place to sit on the steps to enjoy waterfall from overflow level.

By the way, this time, monsoon has arrived late. Pl check the position about overflowing of Bushi Dam before you visit Lonvala. Much of the fun is lost if the Dam is not overflowing on the day of your visit.

Except for Duke's nose all the places can be visited in 5 - 6 hrs time. As mentioned by Sadanand the dam def. gets crowded during holidays in monsoon season. be prepared for the same.
