Already answered your other post iRat.

If you want official permission, you need to get it from the DCF office inside SGNP. Otherwise, just go ahead, and in the worst situation if you run into a ranger enroute who is not sympathetic, you will be told to return from the trail. See the other post.

PS: If you are a member of WWF / BNHS you can request their help for official permission.
