Hi, I'm in Hampi and was wondering the best route to take towards Varanassi way..maybe Ajunta caves way or even better the meteorite crater. The guide books seem to know little about such areas.. After this I know what I would like to do (go across to Rajasthan)it's just this part of the journey I am confused about

I was thinking of getting the sleeper train to Manmad or Aurangabad. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Or if anyone has a similar interest in this area then I would welcome contact!

hey welcome to india. well hope you are having great time.
from hampi if you want to go to ajanta and ellora caves then just take the train to solapur.from solapur YOU CAN AKE BUS TO AURANGABAD.(PLENTY OPTIONS). and you can stay in aurangabad one day to visit ellora caves.the place is a must see cause its one of its kind. whole temple is carved out of one big stone.If you plans to visit Varanassi from aurangabad then AJANTA caves come on the way when you take a bus to JALGAON. from their you can have direct train to Varanassi.From varanassi you can go to TAJMAHAL,DELHI AND RAJASTHAN by train or by flight.options are plenty.
if you want to go to rajasthan from Jalgaon you can go to Khandwa to take train to udaypur or joypur which ever you want.
