I am not very much good at triplogs but this is a destination close to mumbai not very much known.
Did this trip one year ago with two of my friends on our motorcycles We took NH-3 going towards nashik till we reached Kasara ghat and from there took a left to Jawahar. ![]() Some mouthwatering twisties later we were at jawahar. At jawahar we did some photography.A few kms later we were at dhabosa. The walk to the base of waterfalls is a little bit steep. Its a 300 foot waterfall and the recommended time of visit is July/August during the monsoons. It was mid-march so the gush of water wasnt much. ![]() You can check out warli paintings near Jawahar. Enjoy the local bread called bhakri with some gravy ![]() Come back from Charoti onto NH-8 and back to mumbai. Find all the pics here: http://s174.photobucket.com/albums/w...il888/dhabosa/ To and fro distance:400 kms ![]() |

Nice photos. Not bad for March, I went a few years ago end October and the falls had about the same amount of water.
Spice trekker, there is Divekars Nature Trails camp just above the falls from the side where the above photo is taken.
