Daman from Mumbai

Hi,
I want to go to Daman from Mumbai for 2-3 days with my family. What is the best way to go there and please enlighten me on other details such as hotels and places to see.

Hi Cuckoo,

The best way to go to Daman is via Road. Take the Ahmedabad National Highway and take a detour from Vapi. Thats the fastest way you can reach Daman. There are many hotels on the Devka beach and nearby. Very good place to go..

Another Easy way is to take a train from Mumbai to Vapi and hire a Taxi or take a Bus towards Daman.

Train to Vapi & then rikshaw or taxi to Daman is the ideal option. Gujarat Express & Shatabdi express are the two trains which leave early mornning from Mumbai Central & reach Vapi around 8.30 - 8.45. Daman is hardly 25 - 30 mins. ride from Vapi.
