chennai to shirdi

we are planning to shirdi from chennai. We will be travelling from chennai to the nearest airport by flight. please advise me which is nearest airport? From the airport what will be the distance and how long it will take? which is the shortest route?

You can directly fly to Pune from Chennai & Shirdi is around 200 km from Pune .
For shortest route from Pune you can refer :

Plenty of Non-AC/AC/Volvo/Sleeper buses are also available from Pune . You can refer www.redbus.in for the same.

Budget permitting, you can also hire a private taxi for the round trip from Pune airport to Shirdi.

i want to give coconut to be given in shirdi as behalf of my paryers pls inform me if anyone is going to shirdi in near future as soon as possible.

I have a question. I wanted to attend the Shej Aarthi or Kakad Aarthi. Could anyone guide me as to how can i be in the temple during these Aarthi. I will be in Shirdi on Saturday Night/Sunday Morning. ie 31st October/1st November.
