Just to update anyone reading this thread:
I've been trying to call Hotel Amruteshwar for a few days now but with no luck. The landline number is for Central Bank of India and I think the manager must be fed up with me by now Only one mobile number works (the last one) and the guy who answered it told me that the people had gone out of town when I asked for Hotel Amruteshwar (a cryptic statement to make, and when I asked him when they'd return, I didn't really understand wh at he was saying - my Marathi isn't very good unfortunately!). Most likely we'll stay at Igatpuri methinks, and take a chance on the road being decent enough to make it a pleasant drive. Last edited by piccolina : Jul 20th, 2009 at 21:55. Reason: put in para breaks to make it more readable! |

Maybe it has since closed down. The details I posted were from someone else's review on mouthshut.com
Pity. Im sure you will enjoy Igatpuri, there are a lot of waterfalls in that area.
