Aurangabad accommodation

Hey Guys,

I will be going to Aurangabad between 23rd-26th August and am looking for some good cheap accomodation!! I'm not using the trains so do not need to be near the train station (i'll be using buses to get to ellora and ajanta) and my budget is - ideally - no more than 500rs per night and maybe a 'nice' feature like a rooftop terrace or something along those lines would be great! I've been reading LP and all of the options in the budget section don't have a website nor can I book them online so cannot have a look at them in more detail - which leads me to my next question of should I book on arrival or try and book in advance?

Ya know, if you click on "HOME" and then find, on the left hand menus "HOTEL REVIEWS," you'll find reviews of several hotels in Aurangabad, with prices and photos -- so that might be a good place to start.

As far as booking ahead goes, well, it depends on when you are going to be there. If you're travelling, say, over the Diwali or Christmas holidays, you might be well advised to book in advance. For this week, in the heat and monsoon, maybe you don't have to do that.
