Adventuring near Mumbai 28 Feb-1 Mar
I'm in Mumbai for 6 weeks (until 21 Mars) taking some computer courses. Being a nature guy I'm really starting to get an Itch for fresh air.
Therefore I'm looking for other people... guide / friend / cool group of people with the same to do some adventuring and playing with on the weekend of 28 Feb / 1 Mars  Are you one? I have some climbing equipment with me(harness,rope,biners,shoes,n o pro) but I'm interested in hiking and other activities as well. This weekend I'm going to Matheran with some colleagues so I promise not to be totally lost in the Indian countryside  Any tips or suggestions are very welcome! Cheers, David |

Try hiking in Matheran
also Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani (where i have seen absieling demonstartions and activities)

try
Rajmachi near lonavala and I am sure you will be delighted. another one for a trekker is the Karnala (near panvel) and Harishchandragadh |

You can join Critical Mass Ride on 28 Feb evening.
Even if you don't have cycle, you can hire one. All the details are at www.cyclists.in Cheers
