I have just returned from Orchha & Khajuraho last night. In my opinion you can easily cover Ranneh Fall + Ken Ghariyal park + Pandava Falls + Gile's Tree house + Ken wood resort in just 8 hrs. We didn't go to Panna National Park since the chances of Tiger sighting are very rare and it costs fortune. Infact you can watch all other animals except Tiger on your way to Ken Ghariyal Park from Ranneh Falls. All these places are in the range of 120 Kms in total. We hired a local auto rickshaw from khajuraho at Rs. 550 and started at 7 AM from Khajuraho. I think you should consider going to all these places as every place has its own charm. Dont forget to take a boat ride at Ken Ghariyal Park, Its so relaxing.. I also found pandava falls a great place to just sit for sometime and enjoy being with nature.
Have a good time..!!
Cheers...!!!

Thank a Lot Ankur for much needed advice. Its going to be very much helpful to me.
I have some more querries-'
1.What about the road condition? Was it comfertable in a auto riksha.
2.I read in IM about unsafe boat condition at Ken ghariyal park. Whats your observation.
3.How much costly the Glies tree house and Ken wood resort?
An early reply is highly apprciated since I am leaving today night to bharatpur for our MP visit wife and 3 yr old kid.SInce we are travelling with a kid so I am bit concerened about safety in Boat ride and comfort.
Thanks a lot once again.

Road condition from Khajuraho to these places is much better than the most part of roads between Orchha and Khajuraho. Our auto driver was a 16 yrs old excellent driver so we had a pretty comfortable ride. Since you are traveling with a kid so i wouldn't advice you to travel in an auto rikshaw as its gonna be cold during morning hours. so better hire a taxi which will cost you around 1000/- for the entire trip. Do your research before booking a taxi and bargain as much as you can... :P

Even i heard the same about Ken Ghariyal Park but didn't find anything unsafe there. We were bit apprehensive before going for a boat ride but were mesmerized by the silence of that place that we decided to go for a ride and had an amazing time relaxing right in the middle of Ken River. We were not lucky enough to spot Ghariyals but saw a bunch of beautiful birds. we visited that place around 8 AM so we could not see any Ghariyals and saw these birds. As per local caretakers, the best time to spot Ghariyals is around 2 PM when they come out to take sun bath...

I dont have any idea about Giles Tree house since we didnt spend much time there and had breakfast at Ken wood resort @ Rs. 200 per person. Thankyou Ankur for much needed advice.
^^ You are most welcome... Have a great trip.

I know but we spent a good time at each of these places and moreover we were traveling in an auto rickshaw which was slower than a car. Savage Garden, Now a days, Giles tree house is not a separate entity as it has been merged with Ken River Lodge. It's food prices are reasonable.
Dear Ankur, Do you mean Ken River Lodge or is there some Ken Wood resort also ?

I guess you are right delhiwala cuz i saw Ken river lodge written outside the premises but inside near the dining hall it was written Giles tree house. And when i checked the guide book that i had with me they were mentioned as two different places. so i thought they were different... these guide books are useless some times.
Ranneh Fall + Ken Ghariyal park + Pandava Falls + Gile's Tree house require at lease 8 hours according to me. We did this trip by auto rikhsha in 650 Rs in 8 Hours. Boating at Ken River is wonderful experience. They provide Life jackets and its not a very risky job.
Raneh fall and Ken Ghariyal park are in same area and can be covered in4 hours 300Rs Rikhsha but as Punk Soul said it is recommended to cover all four places if you have time.

^^ How was your Trip..?
It was a wonderful trip. In fact by your initial advice i make my mind to do this.Boating experience at ken was one of the highlight of my 14 days journey. There are no tourist as we are the only one its a different experience.
Pandav fall is also nice and peaceful location to spent few hours.
