i didn't like jhansi but that is just over the line in UP which explains the the diffferent vibe there. It was just a transport junction for orccha. I have yet to visit Khajaraho but I hear there is purpose built rail line being created to replace the dodgy very MP style potholed road that buses use to get there from Jhansi. That would be good and be ready insh`Allah by the time I get to india for trip Number 5 .

How much time is recommended for at Sanchi and Mandu if i am on tight tight schedule? I am contemplating a little more than half a day at Sanchi and one complete day at Mandu.

@navinjathan In my opinion a half day is enough for Sanchi but one day is not enough for Mandu. It takes nearly a day to get there. I would definitely spend more than one night. I spent four nights there and it was not enough time. Tim
