Dehradun, Uttarakhand to Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh by car

As 22nd may is the date of my wife's younger sister marriage, we both want to attend the same at any cost at district headquater, Narsinghpur, M.P. I have alto, and last year in sep. I already drove through this route of almost 3200 K.M.

Dehradun ----- Agra (night Halt)
Agra ---- Narsinghpur via damoh (night Halt)
Narsinghpur ---- Shajapur (night Halt)
Shajapur ------ Narsinghpur (night Halt)
Narsinghpur -- Gwalior (night Halt)
Gwalior ------ Dehradun (night Halt).

Just the bad thing was, When we were travelling back from Shajapur to Narsinghpur, We stuck on highway as a rainy river in night just before 5 k.m. to Narsinghpur.

This time I want to leave from dehradun at night so in early morning, I can approach just nearby Agra -- Gwalior 4 Lane highway and later on may be in evening we will arrive at destination Narsinghpur. As the route through Uttar Pradesh Having many cities in average distance of 30-35 K.M., I can drive in night. Madhya Pradesh having a problem of density and towns are quite far from each other, population is less, so I will prefer to drive in day time only.

My program is to leave at 15th night from Dehradun, My main questions are:

1. Is hapur -- Khurja --- Bulandshahr state highway route is safe at night, if not through Gaziabad is better option?
2. Is Alto is good enough to finish 980 K.M. almost non-stop.
3. Any other ideas / suggestions in this regard are most welcome.

I think you are talking about Narsingpur near Kareli. The condition of Damoh route is not good. Please refer this thread where the OP has travelled to Jabalpur from Ludhiana.

I would also suggest you to take the route from Gwalior as

Gwalior-Jhansi-Sagar-Kareli-Narsingpur.

Alto is a very capable car. Get her serviced before the trip. Check the conditions of tyres and you are set to go.

As I am new to Indiamike, I got little bit confused on the subject of poll option.
As you suggested I read that 'Ludhiana to Jabalpur by Safari thread' which is quite helpful.
Advice me:
