Trip to MP next month - general queries.

Hello IMers,

I wanted some travel routes and bus availability(keen on night journey) info here.

My Plan : BLR - Bhopal - Sanchi - Bhopal - Panchamari - Jabalpur - Bandhavgarh - Kanha - Nagpur - BLR. Total 9 days.

1) Is there a direct bus available from Bhandavgarh to Kanha, If so when?
2) Is there any night bus available from Bhopal to Panchamari?
3) Is there any night bus available from Panchamari to Jabalpur?
4) Is there any DAY bus available from Kanha to Nagpur?

The tourism sites dont have the specific bus timings information. It would be great of you have the info Im looking for.

hello tarun, I might be able to help with some of your questions.

I should start by saying that I am not keen on buses, especially in MP - very bumpy roads - and I would not do a night bus anywhere, I much prefer trains.

Anyway, to the questions ..
Bhopal to Pachmarhi is about 5 hours so I don't think it would be worth taking a night bus, and I doubt one is available anyway. MP Tourism have a bus from their hotel in Bhopal - can't remember its name, (maybe Palash?) in TT Nagar - direct to Pachmarhi. If I remember right it goes to Pachmarhi in the morning and back to Bhopal in the evening. A comfortable and fast journey.

From Pachmarhi to Jabalpur - again I don't think the distance is enough to warrant a night bus. I'd suggest checking out the train timings from Pipariya (which is the closest station to Pachmarhi, and there are plenty of buses and jeeps going there) to Jabalpur, there are lots of trains along that line.
