1) 4 hours is normally enough.
2) I think they have but the road is good so an Indica is nice.
3) Nothing in the airport in april 2008

Jabalpur to Kanha

Was there in June '08. Lots of independent taxi drivers outside the airport in the late morning-afternoon-evening. They will overcharge, so use your bargaining skills. The airport is quite a distance from the city and they are your only option. Road to Kanha was good, the drive is hot.

Sorry, really don't remember how much I was charged for a cab trip to the city bus stop, about 120-200 rupees, maybe. After that, I was adventurous I took a bus to the village stops for Bandhavgarh and Kanha. I really wouldn't recommend it though, hot, sweaty, long, tiring.

Are you going to Mukki or Kisli? It took around 4 hours last week to Kisli. Mukki is slightly less.

MPT provides cars. Jabalpur Railway Station has a kiosk, but I do not know about the airport. But you can always contact them in advance and they will send the car.

Non AC charge: MPT charges Rs 6 / Km and a minimum of 250 Km/day. Night stay charges 250/night. Add service tax to this.
Jabalpur - Kanha is 160 Km. So you pay for 320 Km.
I am not sure about the AC charges.
