Pachmarhi in Madhya Pradesh

Hi,

I am planning to visit Pachmarhi in Dec first week there.
Will it be a good time to spend 3-4 days there.
Also, i am lookig for budget hotels, please advise about the places to visit around also.

Yes 3-4 days are required to explore Panchmarhi. It is not a very popular hill-stations so you will get budgeted hotels easily.

I dont know water condition right now but 10 years back when I visited this place there were some drinking water problem and we had spent lot of money behind getting drinking water.

Bimlendra, do you know how will you reach there? Book your tickets accordingly only few trains has a stop at Pipariya.

Thanks for reply.

For journey/tickets, i am fine. We have shortlisted trains and reservations are available. I am worried about the weather conditions as we have kids along.

If any one could suggest the weather in Dec , it would be gr8.

In december, weather will be cool (considering hillstaion it will reduce to 6-7 degree in night but dont worry, your kids will not get any problem.

i have been there during 2001 time ... still remember the awesome Bee Fall and Silver Fall ...

i have been there in oct, 1998 (long time back) the wheather was pleasant. though it was not too hot not too cold something moderate in day times but once the sun is down its a bit cold.
i liked the place very much. its very calm and serene.

i am planning to go there next year, probably in oct-nov?
hope to find it the same after so much time has passed on since my last visit.
