One week and two small kids

HI!
We have chance to go to India in April for 8 days. We plan to fly into Delhi, next day see Agra, spend the night then take the train to Umaria for two nights at Bandhavagarh park. Then train to Jabalpur for two nights, and back to Delhi one night then home. No jetlag because we are in the region so only a quick 4hour flight to get to Delhi.

My questions: Have I picked the top spots to visit in such a short time? We have limited time and not too large a budget. Rather train then bus it with the kids. (ages 1 1/2 and 4 1/2)

Would I be better not going so deep into Madyha Pradesh and seeing Panna park instead and a different city?

Appreciate your thoughts!

The places you have chosen are perfect. But why Jabalpur? Can't you take the train back from Umaria?
Jabalpur city itself is not worth a visit.
