Omkareshwar-Maheshwar during December last

Hi,

I am planning a trip to Omkareshwar-Maheshwar-Ujjain during December last week. Can anybody suggest me what kind of clothing would be required for that period? I have plan to visit Dhabrikund from Omkareshwar. What kind of transport is available and what are the rates?

Hi Kaustabh

I've been in Maheshwar several times and Omkareshwar once, always in the winter season. For clothing I would think you might need socks and a light sweater or shawl in the evenings; you could probably manage without in the daytime.

Having said that I'm a Northern European so I'm probably more used to cooler tempetatures than you

Sorry I don't know anything about Dhabrikund.

Thanks Julia, yes we will be less used to cold weather so I am going to add a woolen cap to the list. This should do I think.

As you said you visited Maheshwar several times, it must be a remarkable place.
