Need your advice: Indore-Om Kareshwar - Ujjain

Hi, I am planning to visit the two Jyothirlingas Omkareshwar and Maha Kaleshwar along with my parents. I would like to make the trip as less tiresome as possible as my parents are old. Here is what I am planning to do. Please correct me if this does not look practical.

We have about 1 and half days to cover both these temples and for some sight seeing in Ujjain. Here is how I am planning.

Day 1: We will arrive in Indore at 10 AM.

1) Leave from Indore by taxi to Om Kareshwar. 77 KM.
Question: Should I assume that this will take about 2 hours?

2) Reach Om Kareshwar at around noon and have darshan.
Question: Can we get darshan at noon or are there temple hours posted somewhere.

3) Spend a couple of hours there and leave to Ujjain around 2:30 PM. Reach Ujjain at around 5:30 PM.
Question: How much would a taxi approximately cost from indore to Om Kareshwar to Ujjain for 4 Passengers. Is there a place in Om Kareshwar where we can get lunch.

4) Check-in at hotel in Ujjain.
Question: Can you recommend a decent and safe hotel that's also close to the temples.

5) Visit Maha Kaleshwar temple around 7:30 PM.
Question: What time will the temple close?

6) Have dinner and rest for the day.
Question: Any recommended restaurant for a good south indian vegetarian meal?

7) Bhasma Aarthi: We want to attend this but I heard there are limited number of tickets per day.
Question: Is it at 2:30 AM or 4AM. Is there a way to reserve for it or is it first come first serve basis?

Day 2:
Visit other mandirs in the city and catch a train to Bhopal at 2 PM.
