mp visit

we are planning to visit mp next. Plz suggest whether it will be suitable to travel in sept. Maxm days shd be 8-10 days. Our favourite is Panchmari, Bedaghat, . I would like to include one more place in the itenerary. Do suggest one.

Orchha vs. khajuraho, which is better in terms of tourist interest and smooth journey? we have a small kid travelling with us. Also suggest how manu nights to stay in
Orchha, Bedaghat , Pancmari?

Orchha and Khajuraho both are nice places....and none are exactly smoooth for journey. IMO visit both....

By Bedaghat, Do you mean Bhedaghat, near Jabalpur ?

Bhedaghat is a only daytrip from Jabalpur...

Oh Yes ! They have Hotel Marble Rocks of MPTDC there.

Khajuraho and Orccha are both tourist towns, but Khajuraho is IMHO the more salubrious place to visit these days. Orccha is grottier due to visitor overload and Khajuraho has more impressive monuments overall, but because visitor numbers are down in Khajuraho you would need to be prepared for lots of hassling from touts.

Yes. Absolutely.
There are very few state transport buses from Satna to Khajuraho (2-3 a day when i checked in December). Not aware of any MP tourism bus.
You should take any bus going to/via Chattarpur (decent frequency. Buses to Bhopal, Indore, etc go via this route) and get down at bamIThA. From here, Khajuraho is 11 KM and you could hire a rickshaw or even hitchhike.

MP tourism has mention of some Narmada cruise which starts at 7 AM from jabalpur and reaches kanha at 4 PM.

Any one travelled in the same?

I have framed a proviisonal itinerary as follows:
Kolkata- Orchha (1 night)-(Bhedaghat(jabalpur)(2 nights) -panchmai(3 nights) -kolkata.

will this be too hectic? pLZ SIGGEST

Kolkata to Bilaspur (Bombay mail via naagpur)
Bilaspur to pendra road
Pendra road to Amarkantak
stay 31, 1

2 Nov
Amarkantak to jabbalpur by bus
Stay at jabalpur 2,3

4 nov
Jabalpur to Pipapriya by train , pipariya to Panchmari by car
Stay 4,5,6,7

7
Pipariya to kolkata By bombay mail

Is it a good tour? Any suggestions?
Is this time is OFF SEASON? Tourist rush ???

i also want to visit Saatpura Biosphere reserve.Any informations on this!!!
