Jagdalpur Visit via Vizag

Hi All,
I want to visit jagadalpur(2 Days) after i finish with Vizag(2 Days). I would start from Bhubaneswar. Can anyone suggest the transportation from Vizag->Jagdalpur->Bhubaneswar. There is a train from Vizag. to Jagd and Jagd. to Bhuba. but thats a passenger train and takes a lot of time.

If you go from Jagdalpur to Koraput, you can get an express train to Bhubaneshwar.

I wondered why you'd mentioned a direct 'Passenger' train, so did some checks.

The Vizag passenger has 1 Sleeper Class carriage taken off at Koraput, and this carriage is added to the Hirakhand Express to Bhubaneshwar.

However, the carriage waits for 5 and a half hours at Koraput, The Hirakhand Express departs Koraput at 18:25, so maybe a bus to Koraput would get you more time in Jagdalpur.

Another option, though it is not a time saver.

You can get a bus from Jagdalpur to Raipur (regular comfortable buses, journey time close to 6 hours), then go to Raipur railway station (about 2kms if my memory is correct) and get train 8426, Raipur 17.15, Bhubaneshwar 07.35. (2A, 3A, SL.)
