How to go Delhi to Chhindwara

Hi guys,

can you please suggest how to go Chhindwara from Delhi. I have searched nets and what i find Nagpur is 120 K.m.'s from Chhindwara. So it seems Nagpur is the closest Big town. I can fly up to Nagpur but then from Nagpur is there any good Bus service? what about the frequency? What about the bus service from Bhopal?

The train from Nagpur is about 6 hours (13:00, 16:00 & 22:30 departures, all with Sleeper Class), however, it's a narow gauge line, great fun, but very slow and 'bouncy'.

There's an overnight 10 hour broad gauge train from Bhopal (dpearture about 18:20), but again, only Sleeper Class.

Buses, I've no idea really, but if I had to guess, I'd say there'll be a bus at least every hour from Nagpur to Chhindwara, and it would likely only take just over 3 hours, if there are any direct buses from Bhopal to Chhindwara, they won't be regular and it's a long distance, Nagpur would be a better choice for buses.

delhi - chindwara

hi....

you will get buses from bhopal to chindwara but they will be ordinary buses no luxary buses. Alternately there is a fast passenger available from Bhopal to chindwara in the evening around 5 pm. ..which has sleeper class compartment also you can book a berth and get down at chindwara early morning. to me most comfortable option seems reach bhopal by any good train by afternoon and then catch this passenger train or go upto nagpur by train and from there by taxi...but taxi will cost you more.

The exact information abt passenger tarin you will get from railway call center number 139 its indore - chindwara panchveli passenger.its not available on railway ite since its a passenger train.

thnx guys for the update. I am really bit scary hearing that there is no train which consists a.c. coaches to chhindwara. However i assume it will be a sort of experience going by those passenger trains. Anyway it seems bus from Nagpur will be the best option. Since it will take round about 3 hours, whatever be the bus condition i think it will be bareble.
