decent hotel/dharamshala in Amarkantak
Can anyone suggest a decent hotel or dharamshala in Amarkantak? I would like to go there and stay for at least 10 days. If the place captivates me for more. Thanks for the help. Tulsi

We stayed last February in Amarkantak.
There is a hotel of MT tourism, it looked good but it was booked up. So we stayed in hotel Sarvodaya, we had a reasonable room for 600 rs. We traveled around ond day with a guide named Yadav, this was a great experience. If you are interested in more details see the February part of our journal From Kochi to Delhi |

Thanks for the info. I might end up in Hotel Sarvodaya during my visit. Good to know that there is an internet cafe in town. Your journal is truly amazing and your travels are really off the beaten trail. Keep it up! Tulsi
