Raipur nightlife?

Hi

I will be in Raipur for a couple of days next week for work.

Will be staying in a hotel called Babylon International.

Does anyone have any info on any bars/pubs or any nightlife in this city.

there is no night life beyond booze which is ample. what else you're looking for?

Sorry, this post won't help much, but here goes.

Come outside the railway station's main entrance, and you'll see a road on your left heading directly away from the station, walk along that road till the first main junction (about 0.5km), the road that crosses that junction has some bars along it, I think you turn right for most of the bars, though they didn't look anything special.

There's loads of Sikhs live in Raipur, anyone know why? is there a historical reason?

yes there are few places that have come up in the big hotels that belt out western music sure about your our wish list, but burn a CD of what you like and give to the DJ and/or the hotel management to play it for you. Ilived in Raipur and I know these guys are very helpful and accomodating. hope this helps.
I used to live near Jai Stambh Chowk.
