Panchmari and Khajuraho together?

Hi,
I was planning to visit MP on a week-long holiday sometime during October....can't really fix the itiniery...
While I'm sure I want to do Pachmari...i was wondering if I should squeeze in Khajuraho as well...can anyone let me know if this is a plausible option...considering i will be starting from Kolkata....
any ideas are welcome.....even planning a trip is so exciting!!

You can take 2321 Howrah-Mumbai Mail which leaves Howrah @22.00 hrs and reaches Satna @ 14.45 hrs the next day. From Satna, you can hire a taxi/jeep to Khajurao which is about 125 kms from Satna and the taxi will take about 3 hours.

From Khajurao you can come back to Satna by taxi/jeep and take Train No.1032/2134 leaving Satna @10.55 hrs and reaching Piparia @16.06 hours.Pl note that this train runs only on Thu/Sat. There are other trains runs from Satna also but those will take you to Piparia in the night. From Piparia you can hire a taxi/jeep to Panchmari which is 52 kms from Piparia.

On return, you can take 2322 Mumbai-Howrah Mail at Piparia@10.47 hrs which reaches Howrah @11.40 the next day.

You can visit Jabalpur, Bedaghat ( for Narmada falls) but you may have to stay one day at Jabalpur.

I would suggest you go to Orchha from Khajuraho as it is really wonderful out there. The place has it's own old world charm that cannot be replicated anywhere else. Not too far away from Khajuraho by bus as it is close to Jhansi railway station from where you can continue your journey wherever you wish to go. Hope this helps.
