Hello ntrip and welcome to indiamike.com
I can answer one of your questions. Pachmarhi is about 40kms from the nearest railway station at Piparita. Train 2322 departs Mumbai CST daily at 21:25 and gets to Pipariya at 10:47 the following morning. 1A = Rs 2019 2A = Rs 1182 3A = Rs 855 SL = Rs 323 Going the other way.... Train 2321 departs Pipariya daily at 20:12 and gets to Mumbai CST at 11:25. (1A, 2A, 3A, SL.)

pachmarhi
Weather will be hot at time of your visit. However you can plan your day trips in the morning ..say at 8:30 and try coming back by 1;30.
Pachmarhi is a beautiful place with lots of things to see. Chota Mahadev, Bada Mahadev, Gupt Mahadev are intersesting to see.. Dhupgarh for sunsets... There is also a small lake for boating.. Apart from this there are some great waterfalls to chill of... Bee fall --- accessible by 4x4 and walking some distance. Apsara Vihar -- accessible by 4X4 but with more walking than Bee fall. Apsara vihar is the fall where the song San San ...nn from the film ASHOKA was shot...( Kareena jumping into a pond..) Dutches fall -- This one is a real cliff hanger....Almost a kilometer of steep vertical down. But the fall is simply beautifull.. Do carry your swimming costumes and towels... I am not sure what will be the water position in all these falls as 10th june is peak summer... All in all its a good place...calm and quite...no commercialisation.... enjoy your trip.... ![]() EOS |

being a paccharhi fan, i am sad to tell you that it is not as cool as it used to be. temp is about only 2-3 degrees lower than big cities like bhopal... and it doesget crowded
try finding about tamia, you will not regret |
