M.P in the rain.

Hello all,
Any suggestions for Madyha late June for a couple of months other than Mandu Pachmari and other quite backwaters?
Will Khajuraho be worth the effort at this time of year?
Thanks in advance.

MP is beautiful in the rainy season. Khajuraho will also be beautiful but Khajuraho got little or no rain the past year.

Anyway it will be better than the hot summer I think.

Mandu is one of the most beautiful places....in monsoon.....Panchmarhi is always beautiful more so in Monsoon...but the problem is that short treks are difficult to undertake during heavy rains.....so you can avoid Panchmarhi for another day....

Try Omkareshwar and Maheshwar.....and also Orchha and Shivpuri...

All these places are again most beautiful in monsoons

Thanks for the replies,
Would travelling by motorcycle be a bad idea (I have one stored in Delhi) because of the rain? Would public transport be the wiser option?
What do you think folks?

Thumbs up

If it is not raining, then MP will be dead hot. I think public transport will be a better option.
