Kolkata to MP by road Need suggestions

I am planning to enter MP via Allahabad by road. My journey will start on 28th August 2008. I need following informations:

a) Weather during 30th August to 18th Sep
b) Road Condition in MP
c) I plan to cover following places:

i) Satna
ii) Khajuraho & Orchha
iii) Chhatarpur
iv) Jabalpur
v) Bhopal
vi)Ujjain
vii) Indore
viii) Omkareswar
ix) Maheswar
x) Mandu

I have a plan to enter MP via Allhabad, Rewa, Satna route and exit towards Rajasthan via Mandu.

In this trip I am also going to cover Rajasthan so on my way back I'll cover Gwalior, Shivpuri(if possible).

Can you suggest me the best possible route to cover MP. Pl. correct my itenary if I am wrong anywhere.

I 'll appreciate if anybody can highlight present road condition of MP
