My Lonely Planet is the one with the cow on the front and so it's about 3 years old now. It says that the Khajuraho entrance fee is 5 rupees. But I'm assuming this is one of the places where the entrance fee has gone up dramatically for foreigners. Does anyone know? Also can you get a pass which gives you a few days entry? I'm assuming one day wouldn't be enough... what would be a bare minimum? Any other Khajuraho tips will be graciously accepted.

I was there in march this year.....250 rupees only I was there during the dance festival....entrance fee was 20 rupees only....cheapest seat... this year it was quite empty compared to some years before.. so you could get a very nice room for very cheap money... all the businessman had been very desperate...making not much business...because of many people avoiding to travel in india this year because of the political situation...very sad... |

Well, that's not too bad at all. What about whether you can get a multi-day pass? Or, whether you actually need more than one day? Thanks so much.
