Question Indore to Ratlam - How Far / How Long?

Hi All
Thinking of hiring a taxi for the above trip.
Does anyone know how long this might take us? And/or how far it is between these two cities?
Thanks heaps

Probably you don't need any answer now...

The best way to go from Indore to Ratlam is by train (Meter gauge). There are around 3 or 4 trains from Indore to Ratlam. It should take 4 Hrs to reach Ratlam.

Hiring a taxi is not a good option as its expensive. It might take 5-6 Hrs and roads might not be good.

By road is only 140 km.

Kindly note the original question was asked on October 31st, 2007. You'd hope the person had arrived by now.

Maybe not, there will soon be a direct Udaipur-Indore train, though Ratlam will always be a useful place to change trains.
