Best time to visit Mandu

Hi, I'm a long time lurker and first time poster

I plan to fly into Mumbai end November and back to UK at the end of January. I want to go to Mandu, Maheshwar and Omkareshwar for a couple of weeks. Any reason to go at the beginning or the end of my trip?
Is the weather likely to be warmer in early December or late January?
I have tried to research it but can't get anything specific, 10 - 26c light woolens required.
We have had a terrible summer here in UK this year and I really don't want to be remotely cold while I'm in India.
My recent Indian midwinter experiences have been Andamans, Puri, Dungarpur - a bit chilly at night.
Mysore and Hampi - nice and warm.
The Narmada valley seems to be right in the middle, so will it be nice and warm or a bit chilly at night?
Anyone spent time there in the winter?

Thanks for your time
Many more questions to follow

Weather will be good in winter in Mandu and the Narmada Valley. Most probably as you say the nights a bit cold. In my opinion the best time to visit is during monsoon.

I was in Mandu last November and it was perfect weather for me, but then I'm Irish. It wasn't too hot during the day - maybe 30C at noon - and was comfortable at night - no a/c required. On the night of Diwali there was an enormous lightning storm which dampened the kids' fireworks for a few hours, but it never got cold. Temperature might drop a bit in late January, though.

What a place though; it was magical. There were only a few other tourists there, and no touts or hassles. Palace after crumbling palace all to myself. I'll definitely be back.
