Vishwa Yuva Kendra youth hostel
Has anyone heard of this youth hostel and if so what can you tell? me about location, conditions etc.

If it is an International Hostelling related hostel- those are not the best/convenient options for India (yet). Although -it seems somewhat pricey. I never had a first hand experience though..
