Ujjain Hotels

Looking at Ujjain for a few days late October any ideas on hotels there??

Hi Basil Brush,

I'llbe in Ujjain in two weeks time. I'll stay in Hotel Shipra, probably the best in town.
I cannot give you other hotel directions now, but once at home i can give you quite a lot of other hotels. Sice your projected trip is in October you are not realy in a hurry.

I have been to Ujjain a few times but never stayed in a hotel as my hometown Indore is only 55 kms.

Hotel Shipra and Yatrika niwas are MP Tourism Hotels (State Government) so they should be OK.

Shipra appears to be really expensive looking at MP Toursim website.

I have heard that Hotel Ashray is pretty good too.

I will suggest you to call them and confirm the rates.

What will you be doing in Ujjain? Great temples there as well as Jyotir lingas there and close by at Omkareshwar.
